App breaking glitch

Ive used this app for over a year, and I love it, but when I open it, it crashes. I have tryed almost everything. I will not rate 5 stars until this is fixed.

Highly recommended

Excelent app, does its job perfectly.

Muito bom!!!

SHOW!!!

Amazing app

I love all songs! Thanks for this app. I purchased the 3.99 version. A little bit of crash. But it works fine! Keep up with the good job ;-)

Bugs and more bugs

Doesnt work anymore after the last att. Im still waiting for corrections!

Wonderful

If you like listening to the soundtrack of retro games, this is a must have.

Weak NDS Support

I really liked this app for being able to play SNES music files. Recently I purchased Nintendo DS 2sf support hoping to have a good experience as well as to support the developer for that good idea. However, whenever I tap on one of my Nintendo DS music files, it is going to take between 2 and 10 (!) seconds before the 2sf file is actually played. I believe this is due to conversions the program has to make but for Gods sake why doesnt it do that upon download. I feel like I wasted some money and I would like to encourage the developer to optimise the paid contents of his application by giving this 1-star rating.

Psf2

A psf2- files support would be nice, that would make this app perfect!

Just what I was looking for!!

Awesome. Please, don’t ever change the icon! It’s the pride of my home screen now :) The biggest issue is that it doesn’t fade out the tracks, but just abruptly ends at the loop point. The colours also look odd on iOS 7 (which looks odd to begin with), and it’s hard to support development of the app. Why can’t I pay a few € to remove the ads, and maybe unlock functionality like the missing fade-out? :)

Crashes on Startup, Please fix!

Freezes, than crashes to desktop on startup. Please fix!

Hidden pay app

Download of the App and the files in the App are for free but if you want to listen to the sounds you’ve to pay. Do not download this!

Nice little music player.

First and foremost if youre a fan of the SNES - buy this application, you wont be disappointed, even if the GUI is bare bones and minimal. .RSN files, if you arent familiar with them, are a great way to transfer music to almost already crowded iTunes libraries. For example, the entire musical library of Final Fantasy 3 (FF6 in Japan) is only 290kb in size. ALL the songs are only 290kb! You cant beat that! And quality doesnt suffer because .RSN files are created with the SNES hardware themselves. Not only does it have support to play SNES music files, but offers NES, Gameboy, PC-Engine, PlayStation, Master System and Mega Drive (all through in-app purchases, each costing $0.99.) Honestly, the quality is so perfect Id pay for most of the old consoles. After writing this review, Ill most likely purchase PS1 and NES support. Downsides (so far in my use): - Theres a very primitive GUI, and an even more primitive media player. One major oversight (at least, I couldnt find one if there is one) is theres no repeat button! Id like to be able to loop specific songs from within the application without having to construct playlists. - Its very complicated when it comes to renaming files, or deleting specific files from a library. Im not sure it would be possible from a developer standpoint to allow the user to erase or rename files within the application (I know basic SDK and thats generally a no-no from Apple as it interfers with how iTunes syncs) but, more accessbility in this area would be nice. - If you accidentally open up the Google images (magnifying glass) search within the application, it seems to stay open (iPhone 4, IOS 5.0.1 here). I cant close it, and every subsequent song that plays after searches in Google images for images which is annoying. - Theres no timer indicating how long is left in a certain song. Im not familiar with .RSN files or other players, but an indication would be appreciated. Overall, great, and (so far) no compatiblity issues with the files themselves or IOS 5. Id recommend others to buy it, and hope the developer(s) will address some of these issues in future updates. Good work on the app!

Great player!

Excellent player. Still losing all music after each updates so i have to re-download it each time. Also, if i build my own RSN files, it only loads partial spcs in it, It seems to be recognizing existing rsn files taken from sites like snesmusic.org and ignore the rest of spcs the app doesnt recognize. I dont necessarily want ALL the spc files in the archives + not be able to load individual spc files is very very bad(for any player). Hopefully dev will allow it in a future release.

Nice blast from the past

Simple app, great 8bit music library, great that it has airplay integrated. Would like more features however. Like a progress bar when listening to tunes and a fade in fade out option cause it seems like every song gets cut at the end.

Awesome

Such a cool app. More people should know about this

So much fun

This is one of my favorite Apps right now! I got all my best remembered games with killer soundtracks!!

Amazing

Brings me back to my childhood. I love this app
